C5 hydrocarbon resin is an aliphatic, low molecular weight, solid resin. Derived mainly from olefin monomers of petroleum origin, this pale neutral resin is characterized by its resistance to moisture, good heat and light stability, and excellent balance of tack and adhesive properties. It is stabilized with 0.1% antioxidant.
C5 aliphatic hydrocarbon resins are a very diverse family of resins. They have somewhat limited compatibilities which can be harnessed as set improvers and in economically sensitive applications.
C5 hydrocarbon resins are mainly used in pressure sensitive adhesive, hot-melt adhesive, shoes adhesive, rubber synthetic, sealant, paint, printing ink, ect.
We manufacture C5 hydrocarbon resins from color 5 to 6 and the softening point range from 90C to 120C.
